White water rafting is at its best in Chile.
We mainly offer rafting on three rivers: the Maipo
River, close to Santiago; the Petrohue River, near Puerto Varas
and the Futaleufu River, near Lake Yelcho.
The launching place for rafting on the Class 3 Maipo
River is only two hours away from Santiago. It is an ideal full-day
expedition for those who are visiting the capital and its surroundings.
Further south, the Petrohue River, with the emerald
waters from the Todos los Santos Lake, triggers the adrenaline of
those who want to enjoy nature from the rafts, overlooked by the
Osorno Volcano, the witness to rafting this great river.
However, the greatest challenge presented to those
who want the extreme experience implies riding the rapids of the
Futaleufu River by raft. Alternating between granite cliffs, lush
foliage, snow-capped peaks and towering spires, the world's premiere
white-water river pours dramatically through a breathtaking canyon
of unimaginable beauty boasting one Class 4 or 5 rapid after another.
The calm stretches afford the chance to enjoy the river's gorgeous
azure-turquoise water and the canyon's stunning northern Patagonia
scenery.
